Sharon Clayton
A social studies teacher for WISE, Ms. Clayton teaches US History, and manages curriculum development and special education needs in the classroom. She holds a B.A. in History from Rutgers University, and a M.A. in Secondary Education from the University of Phoenix.

Chris Davis
A mathematics teacher, Mr. Davis teaches Geometry online, and Adaptive Physical Education in Staunton, VA. He graduated from Bridgewater College in 1996, and is certified to teach Special Education, Physical Education, and Drivers Education.

Heather Davis
Ms. Davis lives in Staunton, Virginia (western part of VA in the mountains). She is currently teaching chemistry for her local high school. She also teaches Earth Science. Mrs. Davis is married with three childrein-Kailie (Age 8), Cassidy (Age 6), and Jase (Age 2). In her spare time she enjoys reading and doing outdoor activities with her family.

Lisa Miller
An English major, Ms. Miller has taught levels 10, 11, and 12 online and helped to develop courses, curriculum, and lessons for further use. She is also an English and Journalism teacher at Liberty High School in Virginia, and has a number of activities and honors credited to her name, to include the National Council of Teachers of English, the Journalism Education Association, and the National Scholastic Press Association. She holds a B.S. in English and Secondary Education from the University of Pennsylvania, and an M.S. in Education from Longwood University in Virginia.

Louise Pollak
Technical support and science teacher, Ms. Pollak teaches Biology, and creates curriculum and lessons for Biology and Earth Science online, in addition to offering technical support to our private and DoDEA students. Ms. Pollak holds a Bachelors of Science degree from Bridgewater College, and a Teaching Certification from Mary Baldwin College. She is also currently teaching in Staunton, VA.

Maureen Prince
An English instructor, Mrs. Prince teaches English 9 online, in addition to English I, Honors, and college prep level courses at Hillcrest High School in South Carolina. She has her B.A. in English from the University of Massachusettes, a Masters of Education in Reading from Virginia Commonwealth University, and a Secondary English teaching certification from Fitchburg State College in Massachusetts.

Whitney Sajko
A History major, Ms. Sajko currently teaches World History I & II, US & VA History, and US & VA Government online. Ms. Sajko received her B.A. in History from William & Mary, and her Masters in Education Leadership from George Mason University. She holds a Virginia Certification in Secondary Education, and is an avid soccer player and enthusiast.

Brian Shutt
One of our English teachers, this is Mr. Shutt's 8th year teaching.  He is from upstate New York, lived and schooled a year in Wise, Va, graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University, and spent two years in Vermont where he earned his Master's degree at Goddard College.  Mr. Shutt is married with 4 boys, and an addictive lover of Pepsi. He started in an elementary private school, spent a summer in Middle School, and is going into his 5th year in High School.

Janice Williamson
Ms. Williamson is an English instructor with a Masters Degree in teaching and 9 years of teaching experience. She has an Arizona Teaching Certification with a full ESL endorsement, as well as a Cross Cultural Language and Acquisition Development (CLAD) Teaching Certificate. Ms. Williamson is currently an instructional supervisor for Aventa Learning.
