School
WISE stands for Worldwide Internet Secondary
Education. This program offers DIPLOMAs through Richard
Milburn High School.
Through RMHS, a secondary education pioneer,
WISE offers online high school classes and instruction for students worldwide. Using a curriculum specifically designed
for independent study and growth, WISE capitalizes on the
way students learn best and utilizes the worldwide resources
available on the Internet.

"RMHS is committed to enabling each student to maximize learning opportunities to achieve success and increase skills in the academic and work experience environment by offering a non-traditional academic, career, and life skills program."
The WISE classroom is as large as the world
and serves students at any geographic location. Stressing
academic excellence and using the latest educational technology,
WISE delivers an education and DIPLOMA that helps students
function in today's changing world. Each year, thousands of
students interested in new learning environments opt for alternative
approaches for a high school DIPLOMA. Using the world as a
classroom, WISE is able to offer the best alternative available
for high school completion.
Our Institutional Objectives:
To offer an educational program through which students can develop academic competency in the skills of reading, writing, speaking and listening, mathematics, science, social studies and electives to include fine arts.
To recognize and accept students as individuals and to provide them with a challenging educational enrivonment that will assist them in developing to their fullest potential.
To provide a diverse program of instruction that will stimulate interest, foster creativity, develop aesthetic appreciation, and encourage initiative through challenging and meaningful activities.
To encourage students to develop habits of questioning, researching, and problem-solving that will lead to critical thinking and mature judgement.
To instill in students a thorough understanding of the democratic process as well as the desire to contribute positively as citizens to the community, the nation and the world.
To implement web-based educational technology programs that are readily accessible for distance learning students.
To continuously evaluate the total school program and make changes to ensure adherence to a changing society and the changing needs of students.
