Regional Director's Message
We at Richard Milburn High School take the task of educating our students very seriously. We are always searching for new ways to stimulate our students’ interests and abilities. Each year, we set out to show our students the joy of learning and that, despite previous difficulties, they are capable of making significant academic progress. RMHS teachers carefully design lesson plans that utilize innovative techniques and instructional materials to keep students engaged in the learning process. At RMHS, we work to identify and meet each student’s personal and academic needs. We are committed to providing our students and staff with an environment that is physically and emotionally safe and conducive to the learning process. Our goal at RMHS is to prepare each student for continued success when s/he returns to his/her base school or graduates and enters college or the workforce.
Since 1996 we have worked with WCPSS to successfully provide alternative educational services to students who, without the RMHS option, may have dropped out of school. We are proud of the program we offer and proud to serve the students of Wake County.
