Richard Milburn High School provides students living in northern Virginia with the opportunity to recover credits in a small, supportive environment that meets their needs. Teachers work closely with students, who have the option of learning in a classroom setting or through an Internet-based program. RMHS students are not required to take SOL exams to graduate. As a SACS-accredited school, RMHS issues certified diplomas.

RMHS has provided services to students in Prince William County since 1975 and to students in Fairfax County since 1994. Students may be referred to RMHS by the district or may elect to enroll privately and pay the tuition.
