School Director's Message

Since 1997, RMHS has worked with Chicago Public Schools to provide an alternative high school program to students in need of a small, nontraditional academic setting. Through our agreement with CPS, we offer students the opportunity to continue earning credits in an environment better suited to meet their needs than a traditional public school.

Students must be referred to RMHS Chicago by the district. They may complete their studies at RMHS or transfer their credits to their base school. Tuition is paid by Chicago Public Schools. Nearly 80 students currently attend RMHS Chicago.

At RMHS, we take the time to identify and address each student's individual needs to assure that s/he improves his/her academic performance and core skills. It is our honor to serve the students of Chicago.
