NESI OVERVIEW

Our business is the business of educating.

Since 1978, NESI has provided educational services to several hundred thousand students. NESI serves educational markets where we can apply our considerable experience - nearly 30 years - in designing, staffing and operating programs and schools.

NESI provides in-school and after-school tutoring services for elementary, middle and high school students and post-secondary services to United States military personnel. We provide full operational services to charter schools, contract schools, and online education. We operate for-profit business units and a non-profit service unit. NESI began providing remedial tutoring services to students attending nonpublic schools under Title I in 1978 and is the nation's oldest provider.

Depth of Services

We provide educational services in four areas:

1. NESI Education Services

• In-school remedial tutoring services through “Title I, Part A of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965,” as amended

• After-school Supplemental Educational Services (SES) through the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001

2. Richard Milburn Schools

• Richard Milburn Academy - public charter high schools

• Richard Milburn High School - contract schools

3. Online Education

Through our Worldwide Internet Secondary Education (WISE) program, we are the exclusive provider of an online summer school to dependents of US military personnel around the world. We also offer online high school courses to students year-round.

4. Military Education

We provide a broad range of post-secondary academic skills courses and career education counseling support services to US armed forces personnel stationed at bases in the US and around the world.

Scope of Operations

• Last year we delivered educational services to more than 15,000 students in 120 cities, spread across 17 states, eight foreign countries and two US territories.

• Corporate headquarters are located in Salem, MA, with divisional headquarters in Woodbridge, VA, and Virginia Beach, VA. Regional offices are maintained in Raleigh, Tampa, St. Louis, Milwaukee and San Antonio.
